Great communication and attention to detail. Would work together again on future writing projects!

I’ve Been There. I’ve Done That.

I’ve written branded conversion copy for hundreds of brands around the world.

After being personally mentored by industry tycoons, reading all the books, and making every possible mistake — my passion became an obsession — and as years went by, I got really good.

Hundreds of successful projects helped me refine my skills — but writing is only part of what I offer...

Companies Make The Same Mistakes

Throughout my years of hands-on experience, I started seeing patterns from the companies I’d partnered with.

Failing, profit-leaking advertising would typically stem from 3 main causes:

Brand Misalignment: Inconsistent messaging, arbitrary decision-making and lacking continuity would lead to scatterbrained, low-converting marketing and advertising.

Insufficient Testing: Throwing caution to the wind and going with what ‘sounds good’, would yield mediocre results.

Failing to Adapt: Remaining stagnant and watching their once successful advertising die from fatigue would hinder their profitability.

The longer these problems occurred, the more money they stood to lose.

Sound familiar? Here are your options:

Overpay a Full-Timer

In a perfect world, this can work. But more times than not, these nuanced problems require a lot of precise care, rigorous testing and raw talent.

So expect these full-timers to want well into the 6-figures — weeks of Paid Time Off, benefits, 401K contributions and whatever else comes with employing full-time talent. Think their work will be good enough to justify hundreds of thousands of dollars in added overhead?

Maybe, but probably not.

Roll the Dice on an Agency

Some agencies are brilliant, while most are filled with a bunch of opportunistic “yes” men — with a few talented creatives that keep their boat afloat. I used to be the ladder — companies would (over)pay agencies, just to have me handle their work for them.

In my experience, there are two types of agencies:

Full-Service

These jacks-of-all-trades are masters of none. They offer everything under the sun, but don’t excel at anything.

Specialty Agencies

The few (actually) awesome specialty agencies are very expensive and can do one thing very well. If you only need that one thing, this could work. But if you need more, you’ll drown in overhead.

Settle for a Cheap Freelancer

Your average freelancer is an amateur with a year or two of experience — their low rates are compatible with the results they deliver. You get what you pay for.

Sure, there are some talented freelancers out there — but few are near my level — and even fewer can be relied on.

or… Just Put Me on Retainer

Think you’ll need a top-shelf copywriter for 3, 6 or 12 months? I’ll cover all of your big ideas, positioning, branding, messaging and copywriting-related needs so you can focus on your tasks.

Pound for pound, I deliver more value.

Get Your Money’s Worth

Creative Consultations

Need someone to brainstorm ideas with? Have questions about creative advertising, split testing, branding, or just need help connecting the dots? Keep me a call-away from having all of your questions answered.

Precise Positioning

How something is sold is as (if not more) important than the words you choose. I’ll help you position everything, from your brand to your offer, campaign and beyond.

Meticulous Brand Messaging

Your brand’s personality and tone perpetuate your perceived value. Once your positioning’s established, your messaging aims to maintain that position through your brand’s decisions.

Conceptual “Big Idea” Copy

From the ‘big ideas’ that fuel campaigns to the tight copy that executes them — you’ll always have fresh ideas in your back pocket.

Direct Response Conversion Copy

What good is marketing or advertising if it doesn’t profitably convert browsers into buyers? By leveraging buyer psychology and age-old persuasion tactics, I maximize conversion rates and the revenue that comes from it.

Split Test Campaigns

Winning campaigns don’t just come to us — they’re refined into perfection via split testing. This involves rigorously testing big ideas, all the way down to nuanced details that have substantial impact on click-throughs, conversions and profitability.

UX Copywriting

Launching or redesigning your website or app? I’ll handle the copy for optimal engagement, usability and performance.

Conversion Rate Optimization

As little as a 0.5% conversion rate hike can yield thousands of added revenue for your bottom line. I’ll provide ongoing testing to keep your landing pages converting at their best.

Mike killed it! The copy for our email sequences, promotions and website were spot on. I really liked how informative the tone was, which didn't oversell the services, but had just enough to pique someone's interest in getting on a call and starting that conversation

Results-Driven Creativity

There’s two sides to high-conversion copywriting.

Outside-the-box thinking brings out creative ideas that fuel success. But creative ideas alone won’t work — they have to be data-driven and focused on profitability.

The trick is to stand out and effectively leverage the attention you’ve garnered.

Get the best of both worlds: I’ll thoroughly analyze the numbers, connect the dots and establish why something is (or isn’t) working so we can make consistent progress without relying on guesswork.

Found my secret weapon and his name is Mike. He is not the cheapest, but he is worth his weight in gold. We are using him for help with Facebook ad text and he has significantly helped with lowering our cost per lead and cost per click on multiple campaigns. After working with Mike on a few projects, I wouldn't even consider working with anyone else. More work to come!

You Need More Than Copy

There’s one word that tends to separate elite copywriters from the rest — and that word is ‘why’.

Whether building a brand, planning a campaign or writing copy, understanding the why behind each decision is the key to profitability.

So whether at the brand or sales level, doing something ‘just because’ should never be acceptable.

There should be a clear reason for every decision, with corresponding KPIs to help measure progress and profitability. This ensures steady gains for all marketing and advertising initiatives.

- I helped Microsoft position Copilot — their generative AI software.

- I’ve written taglines for several NCAA tournaments.

- I established a robust Meta Ads split testing system to help AG1 lock-down their messaging and sell more subscriptions.

Brands and agencies from Manhattan to Los Angeles —- from London, to Paris, to Munich, Tel Aviv, and Kiev — all the way to Hong Kong, Singapore and Melbourne have looked to me for creative solutions that move the needle.

That’s because I go beyond copywriting. Beyond the words. I’m behind the ideas, direction and execution of highly-profitable marketing and advertising-related investments around the world.

Most Brands are Misaligned

Brand and message-related discrepancies of any kind will hinder your results: UGC content, influencer partnerships, ads, emails, landing pages — you name it.

Your brand needs to personify your value proposition.

Your positioning needs to precisely point to why you’re the superior option.

Your messaging needs to perfectly reflect your positioning.

And your copy needs to effectively execute your brand’s message.

Being off by even a degree or two can easily cost you thousands.

Frequently Asked Questions

“How long do you typically work with clients?”

Every set of obstacles is unique, so it entirely depends. Some clients partner with me for a few months, others for a few years.

“Which industries do you service?”

A lot of my work has been in health & wellness, SaaS, tech and service-based industries — but I’ve worked with dozens of industries over the years. If I’m in your budget and I think I can help, we can move forward.

“How does pricing typically work?”

We establish monthly fees based on the plan you choose, and *roughly* how many hours you’ll need in a given month. From there, we establish a price point that fits your needs.

“Do you ever reject incoming client inquiries?”

Sometimes I do. Bottom line: if I don’t think I can do much for your company, I’ll tell you that. Remember, my success is contingent on your success.
